Email Verification Required for all New or Modified Domain Registrations Print

As of January 1, 2014, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has mandated that all domain name providers, like DigiSage, begin verifying the WHOIS contact information for all new domain registrations and Registrant contact modifications.

After registering and paying for a domain name, you will receive an email like the example below. You will have to click the link that says "Click here to verify your email address" and then follow the directions to verify your contact information.

You will have TWO WEEKS to click the link to verify your email address. If you do not do this, then your domain name will be suspended (become non-functional), however you will still own the domain name. There are no refunds available. If you wish to use the domain name after it has been suspended, you will have to Contact Us and ask that we resend you the verification email.
